This is the process of obtaining a Grant of Representation to the estate of a deceased person. This involves us acting on behalf of the Executors to the Will [or on behalf of the Administrators of the estate if there is no Will] in gathering details of the assets and liabilities of the deceaseds estate. We then apply to the Court for the document of title [either called "the Probate" or if there is no Will "the Letters of Administration" ] to register it among the assets and to transfer ownership to the beneficiaries. We can act for you in the administration of the estate irrespective of where you live as long as the deceased, at the date of death, was domiciled in England or Wales. In some cases we can carry out probate work on a fixed fee basis. |
